No content involved

Honestly, I wasn't going to comment on today's strip, but I decided to take a gander. And while the content of the strip is too stupid to even think about (seriously, if there's anyone out there who actually thinks like this, we need to hunt them down and sterilize them), something in the strip blew me away. I imagine that the woman in the strip is supposed to be the wife of the idiot man, but look at her in the bottom panel. Al actually drew someone who looks like she's not old. That woman could be in her 20s--at least, her face is fairly young-looking. In the top panel she doesn't, and her clothes signify age, so I'm assuming this was accidental. But still. Al--that's what a young face looks like! (The kid next to her has a much older face.) I'm completely blown away. Seriously.

Why does one station start with a K, and the other starts with a W? Does Scaduto not understand how the lettering system works?

I think you are right to not critique this strip. It makes my brain hurt even knowing where to start. As far as the "children", I believe that due to a contract Scaduto has with the "Little People Cartoon Characters of America" union, everyone playing the role of a child in his comics is actually a midget. Or maybe an oompa-loompa.

Actually, people who think like this are terribly, horrifyingly common. I imagine their "reasoning" goes something lime this:
Assertion A is backed up by the relevant authorities, who have hidden agendas and are trying to brainwash us. It is therefore a lie.
Assertion B is refuted by the relevant authorities, who have hidden agendaas and are trying to brainwash us. It is therefore the truth.

These people will ignore the advice of doctors in favour of the advice of friends who "had something vaguely similar to this once" or "read on the internet that the normal treatment doesn't work".

In today's Mama Migraina strip
she's actually pretty content taking
over some household things.
Seems to be a good enough rest for her.. 'I've get the table,' eh.
Roast doesn't seem too heavy.
ALLITERATION??!
'Roast is ready', '...do the dishes'..
Whatever, at least she's content.

And.. on the alien comic, I did have
a teacher in his later 60-years
who would stray from the subject [math] to talk of why
he leaves his computer on every night; something about an orbiting satelite above him.
He'd give us lessons about weird cultures of tribespeople prostituting their women,
and on double-class days take out a movie like 'the string theory'.
That was back in 2004.

re KORN and WPOX both appearing on the TV...

The Twin Cities (Mpls and St Paul, MN) straddle the Mississippi River, so the metro area has stations with both K and W call letters. When I lived there, the only way I could remember that K is west and W is east (of the Mississippi) was to think of "WKRP in Cincinnati"

Of course, this installment is uncredited, so we can't tell if it was submitted from that region or if Scaduto came up with it all on his own!
